the music of the Beatles: A NAFME @ Ball state Trip to the Indianapolis symphony orchestra1/25/2024 NAfME @ Ball State is planning a trip to Indianapolis for the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra's concert featuring "The Music of the Beatles" on Friday, February 2nd at 8 pm. The cost is only $11 to see a great performance, get off campus, and have fun with other NAFME members! In addition, you will be able to count this concert as one of your mandatory recital attendances.

On Thursday, January 25th, NAFME @ Ball State will host a "Boomwhacker" Social Event from 6-8pm in MU 401. This is strictly a social event and is not PD point eligible... but come out and have some fun! We'd love to see you all there!
The NAFME @ Ball State Chapter had a great time at the 2024 IMEA Professional Development Conference! Over 60 members joined a record number 173 collegiate music education majors from around the state. This year's pre-conference collegiate night on Thursday, January 11th featured leadership training with Dr. Tim Lautzenheiser! A great time was had by all!
Congratulations to BRADLEY ZIEGELMAIER, CONNOR GRANLUND and LEO SCHUNN! Bradley and Connor were recognized by the Indiana Music Education Association (IMEA) as Outstanding Future Music Educators for 2023-2024! Leo earned a GOLD rating in IMEA's 2023 Composition Competition (Collegiate Division) for his composition, "The Legend of Light and Dark: DELTARUNE Medley." Well Done! Chirp Chirp!
